June 4, 1993
excerpt from the "Los Angeles Times"
excerpts from the "Chicago Tribune" (Chicago, Illinois) and the "Akron Beacon-Journal" (Akron, Ohio)
The article in the "Chicago Tribune" ends with a paragraph where the events of June 4, 1989 were basically dismissed, IMHO - associating it with the beggars they were presently contending with in the new China.
The article in the "Akron Beacon-Journal" is not complete, but I can't find where it continued. The article was originally in the "Washington Post". They do not have the "Washington Post" after 1922 in newspapers.com but I will keep looking for the rest of the article in other papers where the article was reprinted. In looking for the rest of the article, I also looked for more on "Wang Dan" but there were no new articles after June 4, 1993. What happened to Wang Dan?
